Mirko Vučinić says he would love to link up with his Montenegro team-mate and Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic at Juventus.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form for top-three chasing Fiorentina this season, scoring 12 goals in 27 Serie A appearances.

Arsenal have been linked with a big-money move for the playmaker in the summer, but Vučinić is keen to see the La Viola star move to the defending Italian champions.

“We play close together in the national side and we often switch positions with each other,” Vučinić told Tuttosport.

“I would like to do that at Juve as he is a countryman and a really strong player.”

Earlier this month, Jovetic insisted he would not be affected by speculation linking him with a move away from Fiorentina at the end of the season.

“The transfer market? It has been talked about my contract and my future since the beginning of the season and I have to repeat myself: I just [think] about getting Fiorentina into Europe,” Jovetic told Sky Italia.

“I’m focused to score as many goals as possible and to make lots of assists for team-mates.

“In June we’ll see. I think only to the good of the team, of Florence and of our fans, the rest doesn’t interest me.”
