Chelsea transfers: Montenegro’s Bozovic dreams of Blues move
Chelsea transfers: Montenegro goalkeeper Mladen Bozovic says he is dreaming of a move to the Blues ahead of the England tie
Mladen Bozovic has revealed he is desperate to move to the Premier League ahead of Montenegro’s crunch World Cup qualifier against England on Tuesday night.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper, who has attracted interest from the Premier League, will feature for the hosts after starring in a goalless draw with England at Wembley in the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
And the Videoton shot-stopper admits he still harbours hopes of joining his dream club Chelsea.
“After the game at Wembley there was a possibility of going to England but it did not happen,” Bozovic told the Daily Star.
“The Premier League is where I want to be, only the Premier League. I love the football in England and I watch it all the time, I like Chelsea best of all.
“I played very good against England, especially at Wembley, and I am hoping if I do well again on Tuesday something will happen.
Bozovic also believes Montenegro have a good chance of beating England and moving four points clear of the Three Lions in Group H.
“We almost qualified for Euro 2012, getting to the play-offs where we played the Czech Republic, and our team is like our country – small but strong and proud,” he added.
“We know England will be very difficult opponents, but we believe we can do it and our fans are so noisy and passionate they will be a big help.
“We are a team who plays well on the counter-attack and have some excellent players like Stefan Savic and Mirko Vucinic.”
