Steven Gerrard struck the winner from the penalty spot as Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Aston Villa.

Christian Benteke had given Paul Lambert’s men the lead after half an hour but Jordan Henderson equalised just after half-time, before Gerrard dispatched his spot-kick after Nathan Barker had fouled Suárez.

With this the only Premier League game of Easter Sunday, it attracted plenty of attention on Twitter – and here are some of our favourite snippets from the professionals, in chronological order.
