Fabio Quagliarella is not looking to leave Juventus despite reported interest from Manchester United, according to the striker’s agent.

The 30-year-old has impressed for the defending Serie A champions this season, scoring 10 goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.

Striker Quagliarella, who signed for Juve from Sampdoria in 2010, has been regularly linked with a move to the Red Devils since bursting onto the scene at Udinese in 2007.

But the Italy international’s agent insists that his client wants to stay at the Old Lady after working so hard to secure a move to Turin.

“Fabio toiled so much to wear the very prestigious Juventus shirt and I see no reason why he should leave this team,” Quagliarella’s agent told Tuttosport.

“He never asked and he’ll never ask to be transferred.

“If Juventus, at the end of year, prefer to sell him, Fabio could only accept to go to another big club. And there will be many requests.”

Quagliarella has scored 23 goals in 65 appearances for Juventus after completing a move to the Turin outfit from Sampdoria in August 2010.
