Newcastle transfers: Santon would ‘seriously’ consider Milan switch
Newcastle transfers: Davide Santon says he would be interested in a move to AC Milan if the San Siro side made a bid for the defender

Davide Santon says he would “seriously” consider a move to AC Milan if the San Siro outfit made a bid for the Newcastle United defender.
The 22-year-old has impressed at right-back for Alan Pardew’s side this season, scoring once in 30 Premier League appearances.
The Italy international, who joined in a £5.3m deal from Inter Milan in 2011, has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A.
But Santon indicated Milan would be the only club which could possibly tempt the full-back away from St James’ Park in the summer.
“I’m really happy in Newcastle. I like the city, the club and the atmosphere,” Santon told Gazzetta dello Sport. “I’m also engaged to Chloe and we’re expecting a baby in May.
“A return to Italy? At Newcastle I’m a king and I have a contract until 2016.
“But I’ve heard of the interest from Milan in me and that is really pleasing because I have been a Milan fan since I was a child.
“I’m not sure what would happen if another Italian club came in for me, but I’d seriously think about packing my bags for Milan.”
