Petr Cech insists he is not concerned by Chelsea’s managerial policy, pointing to the club’s success since Roman Abramovich took over the west London club.

Rafael Benítez is the 10th manager to occupy the Stamford Bridge since the Russian billionaire bought the club back in June 2003.

But the Chelsea goalkeeper says that the club’s silverware record in recent seasons speaks for itself.

“People say that if there was more stability with the manager at Chelsea we would have had more success but I’m not sure that is right,” Cech is quoted as saying by the Sun.

“In the last nine years we have won more or less the same number of trophies as Manchester United. They have had one manager in that time — we have had eight.

“Arsenal have had the same manager and they haven’t won anything for a long time. Maybe if you asked them they might say they would rather have had 10 managers and six trophies, I don’t know. We do it our way, other clubs do it their way.

“It seems to have worked for us so far so long may it continue.”
