We didn’t kick on! Joe Hart critical of Man City’s display at Spurs
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart criticises the Citizens for taking their "foot off the gas" after a 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur

Joe Hart has criticised Manchester City for being complacent after the Citizens squandered a one-goal lead to lose 3-1 at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The defending Premier League champions took a first-half lead through Samir Nasri at White Hart Lane after good work by Carlos Tevez and James Milner.
However, Clint Dempsey, Jermaine Defoe and Gareth Bale all scored in the final 15 minutes to turn the match on its head and leave the Citizens pointless.
Manchester United can win a 20th top-flight crown with a win against Aston Villa on Monday night, and Hart felt City took their foot off the pedal in the closing stages in north London.
“We took the lead and didn’t kick on from there. Second half we just kind of existed and paid the price,” Hart told City’s website.
“I just thought we took our foot off the gas and you can’t do that. Spurs have got a lot to play for and congratulations to them but I’m not really interested in them.
“We messed up in Europe and we have had plenty of weeks rest so I don’t think that is what it is down to. It was just a poor second half.
“But we will bounce back easily, it is what we do. We have proved that many a time. We have a big game coming up against West Ham.
“It is always good to win at home and we have got the FA Cup final that all the boys are trying to win their spots for.”
