Liverpool can break back into top four next term, insists Jose Enrique

Jose Enrique is confident Liverpool will be able to break back into the top four next season as long as they are able to find the consistency required for Champions League qualification.
The Reds look set to miss out on a Champions League spot again and are currently seventh in the Premier League table, nine points behind fourth-placed Tottenham with six games to play.
However, defender Enrique is sure that the Reds are on the way up and can battle their way back amongst Europe’s elite under Brendan Rodgers next term – and also refused to rule out a Premier League title challenge.
“Consistency is the difference between us and the top four this year,” Enrique told Liverpool’s website ahead of Saturday’s trip to Reading.
“Consistency is the key to be in the top four in the future – the mentality is the most important thing for the players so if we change to a winning mentality, we’re going to be there for sure.”
He added: “In the next few years, we will try to fight for first place and be in the Champions League.
“We can’t be happy with where we are; we will try to finish as high as we can and see what happens next year.”
