Christan Eriksen has admitted he would like to play for a club like Manchester City as speculation increases over the midfielder’s future at Ajax.

The Denmark international has been one of the key figures in the Amsterdam outfit’s recent success under Frank de Boer, winning back-to-back Eredivisie titles.

The 21-year-old playmaker has continued his impressive performances this season, with his 12 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions attracting interest from the Premier League.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have both been linked with a summer swoop for the Danish youngster, but Eriksen appears to have his eyes set on a move to City or Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain.

“I’d like to play for a club like Manchester City or PSG,” Eriksen told Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.

“For me it is important that I have a good feeling at the club.

“I should be able to play football and then I could develop. I will be a better football player.”

Eriksen has scored 29 goals in 152 appearances for Ajax after making his senior debut under current Fulham manager Martin Jol in February 2010.
