Man City transfers: Arturo Vidal wants to stay at Juventus
Man City transfers: Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal says he wants to stay at the Turin outfit despite interest from host of top clubs
Arturo Vidal has played down his chances of leaving Juventus in the summer amid reported interest from Manchester City.
The Chile international has helped keep Juve’s Serie A title bid on track in recent weeks, scoring in a 1-0 victory over AC Milan on Sunday night.
The 25-year-old has netted 11 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions this season, prompting interest from City, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
But Vidal has rubbished talk of the forward quitting the Turin outfit in the near future, insisting he wants to help Juve build on their recent success.
“I am very calm about my future and I am fine at Juventus, I feel comfortable,” Vidal was quoted by the Italian media.
“I want to stay where I am because I am proud to wear this shirt.
“I don’t have any doubts. I want to continue my adventure at Juventus and give my best to this team.”
Vidal has scored 20 goals in 74 appearances in all competitions for Juve after completing a move to Turin from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011.
