Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of securing a top-four finish took a blow after Andre Villas-Boas’s men could only secure a 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.

Elsewhere, Manchester City were 2-1 winners against West Ham in the early kick-off, while Everton, West Bromwich Albion and Stoke City all picked up three points in their respective matches.

Here is the best of the Twitter reaction from the professionals, past and present, in chronological order to Saturday’s Premier League action.
