Arjen Robben has revealed he is looking forward to coming up against some of his former team-mates when Bayern Munich take on Chelsea in the Uefa Super Cup in August.

Newly-crowned champions of Europe Bayern will play Europa League winners Chelsea at the Eden Arena in Prague on 30 August in the annual match.

Robben, who scored the winner in Bayern’s 2-1 Champions League final triumph over Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge between 2004 and 2007.

And the winger says he has been in touch with Chelsea duo John Terry and Frank Lampard following Saturday’s triumph.

“We have more games coming – World Cup for clubs, the Super Cup against Chelsea – it’s amazing,” said Robben, who scored 15 goals during his three years in west London.

“I’m looking forward to it. I already saw on my mobile I already had text messages from JT [Terry] and Lamps [Lampard].”
