Chelsea 3 Basel 1: Europa League as it happened

Chelsea booked their place in the Europa League final with victory over Basel in the last-four second leg at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues, who were 2-1 up from the first leg, fell behind on the stroke of half-time at Stamford Bridge when Mohamed Salah scored for the visitors.

But three quick-fire second-half goals from Fernando Torres, Victor Moses and a stunning strike from David Luiz wrapped up a 5-2 aggregate triumph – 3-1 on the night – and booked the Blues’ place in their 11th cup final in eight years.
