Gareth Bale scored a dramatic 86th-minute winner to help Tottenham Hotspur secure a 1-0 victory over Southampton and keep their top-four bid on track.

Elsewhere, Arsenal were 1-0 winners at Queens Park Rangers, while Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic both secured big victories in their bid to beat relegation.
