Isco admits he doesn’t know where his future lies beyond the summer, with the Málaga playmaker linked with a move to Manchester City.

The 21-year-old has impressed for the La Liga outfit this season, scoring eight goals in 35 top-flight appearances, while also netting three times in the Champions League.

With Manuel Pellegrini expected to replace Roberto Mancini at the Eastlands outfit, it has been suggested Isco could follow his Málaga boss to Manchester.

However, the Spain Under-21 international insisted he doesn’t know where he will be at the start of the 2013-14 campaign.

“We will do what is best for Malaga,” said Isco. “Nobody knows where my future lies.

“Right now I am just focusing on the two league games which remain [at home to Deportivo and away to Barcelona] and making sure I am at full strength for next month’s European Under-21 Championship.”

Isco has scored 16 goals in 85 appearances for Málaga after completing a move to Pellegrini’s side from Valencia in 2011.
