Man City transfers: Zlatan Ibrahimovic ‘remains at PSG’
Man City transfers: Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent says the striker will remain at Paris Saint-Germain beyond the summer
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to remain at Paris Saint-Germain beyond the summer, according to the striker’s agent.
The Sweden international has been linked with a move away from the newly-crowned Ligue 1 champions, with Juventus and Manchester City reportedly interested in snapping up the forward.
Ibrahimovic played an instrumental role in helping Carlo Ancelotti’s side secure their first title since 2004, scoring 30 goals and making eight assists in 34 top-flight appearances.
But the PSG striker’s agent Mino Raiola has rubbished claims Ibrahimovic could be set for a return to Serie A and expects his client to remain in the French capital.
“A return to Italy is out of the question,” Ibrahimovic’s agent told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He remains at PSG.
“I heard he was going to break his contract but that is an invention of the media. He never told me that.”
The 31-year-old, who scored four goals in a 4-2 friendly victory over England in November, joined PSG from AC Milan last July.
