Man United transfers: Marouane Fellaini plays down Red Devils link
Man United transfers: Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini says David Moyes has no plans to take the Belgian to Old Trafford

Marouane Fellaini says former Everton manager David Moyes has not talked to the midfielder about a potential move to Manchester United.
The 25-year-old played a key part in the Toffees’ top-six finish this season, with the Belgium international scoring 11 goals in 31 Premier League appearances – his best return for a top-flight campaign.
Chelsea were reported to be interest in the midfielder earlier in the campaign, while the Red Devils, who appointed Moyes as manager earlier this month, are the latest club to be linked with the Belgian.
But although Fellaini, who has three years left on his Goodison Park deal, is desperate to play in the Champions League, the former Standard Liege man played down the chances of a move to Old Trafford.
“He got a good offer and I understood why he accepted it,” said Fellaini.
“But he never told me he planned to take me to United. Rumours are part of football and I take them with a pinch of salt.
“Everyone likes that question about Manchester United, but I know of nothing.”
He added: “My destiny is with Everton, it’s as simple as that.
“We’re talking about one of the biggest clubs in England, the framework is in place and the manager’s departure doesn’t change anything.
“I do miss playing in the Champions League but we deserved to win a place in it this year.
“We were unlucky Spurs had a good season as well. But it’s clear I am very happy where I am. Everything else is waffle.”
