Rafael Benítez may be interested in taking charge of Napoli, according to the Chelsea interim manager’s agent.
The Spaniard is set to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer after taking charge of the Blues on a temporary basis following Roberto Di Matteo’s sacking last November.
Benítez’s side face Benfica in the Europa League final in Amsterdam on Wednesday night, with the Blues already having secured their place in the Champions League next season.
Current Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri is being heavily linked with the Roma position, and Manuel Garcia Quillon says his client Benítez could be interested in taking charge of the Naples-based outfit.
“We have not had any contact with Napoli, but we are willing to listen to a proposal,” Quillon told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Napoli are an important team which have done great things in recent years.
“We would be willing to listen to them, but we have to evaluate many other things too.
“However, we would not close the door on Napoli.”
Benítez led Valencia to two La Liga titles and the Uefa Cup before taking charge of Liverpool in 2004, guiding the Reds to the Champions League crown and the FA Cup during his five-year reign.
