Olivier Giroud insists Arsenal are in confident mood heading into Sunday’s trip to Newcastle United.
The Gunners travel north knowing that a victory will secure a top-four finish and qualification for next season’s Champions League.
And Giroud, who is available for selection again after missing the last three games due to suspension, has backed Arsene Wenger’s men to get the job done against the Magpies.
“We are confident,” Giroud, who has scored 17 goals in all competitions for the Gunners this term, told Arsenal Player.
“For Newcastle, it will maybe be a little bit different because Newcastle will play in the Premier League next season. I think it’s a good thing for us.
“Now we have to do the job and keep focused on our qualities and our game. Never mind if they are a little bit relieved, they will maybe play without pressure. I’m not sure but I think it’s better for us.”
