Arsenal and Tottenham are title contenders, says Harry Redknapp
Harry Redknapp believes Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will be Premier League title contenders next season
Harry Redknapp believes Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are capable of winning the Premier League title next season.
Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all changed their respective managers at the end of the season, with Jose Mourinho returning to the Blues and David Moyes succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
And Queens Park Rangers boss Redknapp, who was replaced by Andre Villas-Boas at White Hart Lane last summer, reckons it will be a very tight Premier League title race between the top-five sides next term.
But the 66-year-old doesn’t believe there is an early favourite to win England’s top prize.
“There’s going to be a massive difference next year,” Redknapp told the Manchester Evening News.
“There’s been changes in management everywhere. David Moyes is going in to Old Trafford and leaving Everton. Roberto Martinez has left Wigan to go to Everton and Roberto Mancini has left City. There are lots of changes all around the league.
“It’ll be a great season and a tight season.
“I wouldn’t like to pick a winner next year.
“Man United, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham will be the top five but anyone could win it.
“It’s going to be a real shoot-out between them next year.”
