Arsenal transfers: Fiorentina will only sell Stevan Jovetic for €30m
Arsenal transfers: Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade says Stevan Jovetic will only leave if the club receive a €30m offer
Stevan Jovetic will only leave if Fiorentina receive a €30m (£25.7m) offer, according to the club’s sports director Daniele Prade.
The Monetnegro international’s future has been a source of constant speculation in recent weeks, with Arsenal and Chelsea both linked with the midfielder, as well as Serie A champions Juventus.
The 23-year-old was one of the driving forces behind Fiorentina’s bid to qualify for the Champions League as La Viola missed out on a top-three finish following AC Milan’s win on the final day of the season.
And Prade confirmed Jovetić, who has scored 13 goals in 33 top-flight appearances this term, will only leave if the club’s valuation for the midfielder is met.
“Stevan is not on the market. There is a promise made by the president [Andrea Della Valle] to him, that he can leave him if we get an offer of €30m cash,” Prade told Corriere dello Sport.
“If not we’d gladly keep him. Jovetic has not said he wants to go away, it’s a subject that will have to do with him and the president.
“There have not been offers, we only met the player’s agent Ramadani. The president has not authorised me to speak with Juventus, it is up to the president to decide.”
