Chelsea transfers: Edinson Cavani wants to play for one of ‘biggest clubs’
Chelsea transfers: Napoli striker Edinson Cavani wants to play for one of the biggest club's in the world
Edinson Cavani says he wants to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world but the Napoli striker insists he hasn’t agreed a “concrete” move.
The Uruguay international, who is currently competing in the Confederations Cup in Brazil, has been linked with a summer switch to Chelsea, Manchester City and Real Madrid in recent months.
The Napoli striker admitted that Real Madrid would be his “dream” club earlier this week, but the 26-year-old South American is adamant he has nothing official to reveal about his future.
“Everyone wants to play for the biggest clubs in the world, clubs with a lot of tradition,” Cavani told Globo Esporte.
“But nobody knows my future, I don’t know anything. I only know that I am a Napoli player. The truth is that there is nothing concrete, nothing official.”
Cavani, who joined from Palermo in 2010, scored 29 goals in 34 appearances for Napoli last season as the Naples outfit finished as runners-up in Serie A.
