Marco van Ginkel’s agent is remaining tight-lipped on speculation linking the Vitesse Arnhem youngster with a move to Chelsea.

The 20-year-old impressed for the Netherlands at the European Under-21 championship in Israel this summer, attracting interest from the Blues.

Van Ginkel’s former team-mate, Alexander Büttner, completed the switch to Manchester United last summer and the midfielder could follow the left-back to the Premier League.

However, Van Ginkel’s agent, Karel Jansen, rubbished reports that he had held talks with Blues manager Jose Mourinho and insisted a move isn’t imminent.

“Nothing is sure. There is interest but it is not the time for all parties to say something about it,” said Jansen.

“A lot of things are being said and written and it’s a bit chaotic.

“From our side, we are just keeping quiet and we will see what happens.”
