Esteban Granero is on the lookout for a new club this summer following Queens Park Rangers' relegation, claims agent
Esteban Granero is on the lookout for a new club this summer following Queens Park Rangers’ relegation from the Premier League, the midfielder’s agent has claimed.
Granero joined the Hoops from Real Madrid last summer but has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road after Harry Redknapp’s side dropped down to the Championship.
The midfielder made 27 appearances in all competitions for the west London side last season, scoring one goal.
Now, the 25-year-old’s agent Teo Lazaro has admitted that Spaniard is likely to leave QPR along with a number of other players.
“QPR will have to part ways with a number of highly paid players following their relegation from the Premier League,” Lazaro told Izvestia.
“Among those players listed is the name of my client. Basically, we have to find a new club.”
Meanwhile, QPR goalkeeper Júlio Cesar continues to be linked with a transfer to Arsenal this summer.
