Man City transfers: Sevilla winger Jesús Navas admits he would be interested in a move to the Citizens
Jesús Navas has set his sights on a move to Manchester City as the Sevilla winger aims to quench his thirst for silverware.
The 27-year-old, who has been a key part of Sevilla’s side over the past decade, is reported to be top of Manuel Pellegrini’s list of potential Citizens recruitments.
The Chilean is expected to take charge of the Premier League runners-up after the Málaga boss finished his reign with a 4-1 loss to newly-crowned La Liga champions Barcelona.
And Navas, who made six assists in 37 top-flight appearances, admitted he is “open to anything” and the winger would be interested in a move to City in the summer.
“I like Manchester City a lot and it has great players,” Navas told Marca.
“Manchester City has done all it can to bring me in and I have to be grateful for that. I want to go on and win trophies.
“I’m now open to anything. I want to win more and reach my goals.”
Navas has 23 Spain caps and was part of Vicente Del Bosque’s squad which lifted the 2010 World Cup and European championship last summer.
