Man City transfers: Isco plays up talk of Citizens switch
Man City transfers: Isco fuels speculation linking him with a transfer to Eastlands this summer by revealing they are an option for him
Isco has fuelled speculation linking him with a transfer to Manchester City this summer by revealing that the Premier League club is a possible destination for the Malaga midfielder.
The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium in recent weeks and is also attracting interest from Real Madrid.
Isco has three years remaining on his current Malaga contract but the player admits he would be keen to link up with Manuel Pellegrini once again, with the Chilean looking set to take over at Eastlands.
“My future nobody knows. Pellegrini is my footballing father, who gives me confidence – so you have to think about [Manchester] City and look at it,” Isco is quoted as saying by AS.
“And Madrid? There is that, so we see what happens.”
Isco has scored 16 goals in 85 appearances for Málaga after completing a move to Pellegrini’s side from Valencia in 2011.
