Arsenal transfers: Juventus priced out of Stevan Jovetic move
Arsenal transfers: Juventus manager Antonio Conte says the Turin outfit won't be signing Fiorentina's Stevan Jovetic this summer
Antonio Conte has ruled Juventus out of the running to sign Arsenal and Manchester United target Stevan Jovetic.
The Montenegro international was one of the driving forces behind Fiorentina’s fourth-place finish last season, with la Viola narrowly missing out on Champions League football.
Jovetic has been linked with a move to Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United in recent months, while Serie A champions Juventus were thought to be keen to sign the 23-year-old.
However, Conte revealed the Turin outfit have been priced out of a potential deal to snap up the highly-rated playmaker, handing the Premier League clubs the initiative in the race for the Montenegrin’s signature.
“He has a high price, which is justified because we are talking about a great player,” Conte said.
“But at these prices, it is obvious that he will not be going to an Italian team but elsewhere. Now we have six attackers, so we will see what happens.”
