Chelsea transfers: Hulk happy to stay at Zenit despite speculation
Chelsea transfers: Zenit Saint-Petersburg striker Hulk says he is happy to stay at the club amid interest from the Premier League
Hulk insists he is happy to stay at Zenit Saint-Petersburg amid continuing interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Brazil international has been a long-term target for the west London side, who appointed Jose Mourinho as their new manager earlier this month.
Monaco have been linked with a bid for Hulk after signing his former Porto strike-partner Radamel Falcao in a big-money deal earlier in June.
And Hulk confirmed that he has received approaches from suitors but the South American refused to shed any light on where his future lies beyond the summer.
Hulk told TV Paraiba: “Those approaches [by other clubs] do exist. There are clubs interested in me.
“But if I am to move, it has to be to a better place, with a better team in a better competition. I will be happy too if I stay. Zenit are a great club.”
The 26-year-old, who has scored six goals for Brazil, helped Luis Felipe Scolari’s men win the Confederations Cup on Sunday night.
