Man United transfers: Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo says he is enjoying playing for Los Blancos
Cristiano Ronaldo insists he enjoys playing for Real Madrid amid speculation linking the Portugal forward with a return to Manchester United this summer.
The 28-year-old’s future has been a source of constant speculation in recent months, with United reported to be ready to make a move to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.
Cash-rich Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a big-money swoop for the forward, who has two years left on his contract with Los Blancos.
And Ronaldo was remaining tight-lipped about his long-term future at the La Liga runners-up.
“I enjoy of course to play there [Real Madrid], I play there for four years so I want to continue there,” Ronaldo told Sky Sports News.
“It is not the best day to speak about my future. I am going to have time to speak about that at the beginning of pre-season.”
Earlier this week, new Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti admitted he was thrilled to be working with Ronaldo after joining from PSG.
“My opinion is easy. Ronaldo’s a fantastic, marvellous player,” said Ancelotti.
“It’s an honour to coach a player like Ronaldo like it was to coach Zidane.
“Ronaldo was not on the list of players like Brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane and Ronaldinho that I coached.
“He will be on the list of players I coached now and I am so happy for that.”
