Man United’s Robin van Persie relishing ‘challenge’ under David Moyes
Robin van Persie admits that it is a "challenge" adapting to life under new Manchester United boss David Moyes
Robin van Persie admits that it is a “challenge” adapting to life under new Manchester United boss David Moyes – but remains certain the Red Devils can win more silverware next season.
The Netherlands international played a key role for United in Sir Alex Ferguson’s last season in charge, scoring 26 goals to help his side win their 20th English top-flight crown.
And the 29-year-old, who joined United from Arsenal last summer, is convinced that Moyes’ men will challenge for all the major honours next term.
“It’s a new challenge for all of us but one we’re looking forward to,” Van Persie told United’s website.
“We’re all working very hard to get fit and, in my opinion, given the way we train and the way I have got to know the guys over the last year I’m certain we can win more trophies.
“We will fight to win this year again and let’s hope for more.”
