Sol Campbell could be future Arsenal manager, says agent
Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell could be a future Gunners manager, according to ex-player's agent
Sol Campbell could be a future Arsenal manager, according to the former Gunners defender’s agent Sky Andrew.
The 38-year-old has been returning to Arsenal’s London Colney training ground as the ex-England international looks to secure his coaching badges.
The Gunners legend was part of Arsene Wenger’s Invicibles side which won the Premier League title in 2004, while the centre-half also won three FA Cup crowns.
While, Wenger has recently agreed a new deal with the north London side, Campbell’s agent reckons the former Tottenham Hotspur defender could manage the Gunners in the future.
“Sol’s doing his badges and I dare say one day he will be a manager, and if he does decide to be a manager he’ll be a top manager because of his character,” Andrew said.
“He goes back to Arsenal to do a few of his qualifications anyway and it was great partnership when he was there, so why can’t it be in the future? He’s not ruling anything out.”
