Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on the improving Aaron Ramsey after the midfielder helped Arsenal beat Manchester City 3-1 on Saturday.
The Wales international scored the Gunners’ second goal in Helsinki as Wenger’s men ended their pre-season preparations in style.
And the Arsenal boss has been impressed by 22-year-old’s overall improvement in recent months.
“I have always believed in Aaron and I think he has shown again what a tremendous engine and what desire he has,” Wenger told Arsenal Player.
“His vision has improved and his tactical aspect has improved a lot. He’s growing into a very strong player.”
Wenger also reserved praise for Theo Walcott after the England international scored the opener and set up both of the Gunners’ other goals against the Premier League champions.
“Walcott put in a great performance,” he said. “I’m happy with both sides of his game – he defended very well and [set up] two goals.
“His game has improved tremendously because he’s an intelligent player. When you’re intelligent, you always improve.”
