Chelsea’s Petr Cech eyes even ‘further’ success under Jose Mourinho
Chelsea's Petr Cech says he hopes to taste even greater success under Jose Mourinho in the manager's second Blues reign

Petr Cech says Chelsea want to taste even greater success under Jose Mourinho in the manager’s second Blues reign.
The 50-year-old sealed a return to the west London in June after penning a three-year contract at the Europa League winners following spells in charge of Inter Milan and Real Madrid.
Mourinho guided Chelsea to two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and won three League Cups during three decorated years at Stamford Bridge but failed to guide the Blues to Champions League glory.
Chelsea start their European campaign against Bayern Munich in the Super Cup in Prague on Friday night, and Cech, a veteran of Mourinho’s first spell, spoke of the squad’s joy at the Happy One’s return.
“He knows what we all think,” Cech told a news conference on Thursday. “We had so much success with him in the past.
“I’ve learnt and seen it in the past with all the success, so I’m glad we have another chance to be as successful as we were before and hopefully we can go ever further.
“I think the aim, the motivation and the goal for all of us is to keep winning.
“If we can do that again – and even better – then obviously it would be the perfect scenario.”
