Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is searching for a long-term replacement for recently retired Jamie Carragher, who called time on a 16-year career in May.
The Northern Irish boss was reported to be an admirer of the 18-year-old after the France Under-20 international scored twice in 18 Ligue 1 appearances last term.
But Zouma, who made his debut against Bordeaux in Coupe de la Ligue in August 2011, is adamant that he will be remaining at Saint-Etienne beyond the summer.
“There was a lot of noise this summer about a transfer for me,” Zouma told Le Progres.
“I can only say one thing – I will be at Saint-Etienne this season, for sure.”
Rodgers has also been linked with a swoop for Swansea City defender Ashley Williams, as well as Schalke’s highly-rated Greek centre-half Kyriakos Papadopoulos.
