Man United transfers: Darren Fletcher reveals Wayne Rooney ‘worry’
Man United transfers: Darren Fletcher admits he is worried Wayne Rooney could leave the Red Devils amid Chelsea interest

Darren Fletcher admits he is worried Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney could leave the Premier League champions this summer.
The Red Devils confirmed on Monday that they had rejected a second bid from Chelsea for their England international, with the Blues reportedly offering £30m for the striker.
Rooney was expected to travel with United to Sweden for the club’s final pre-season friendly but the former Everton youth graduate has remained in Manchester due to a shoulder injury.
And Scotland international Fletcher hopes Rooney decides remain at Old Trafford.
“You do worry he’ll leave because he’s a fantastic football player, but you leave that to Wayne and the club,” Fletcher told Sky Sports News.
“I hope he stays because he’s been a fantastic player for Manchester United, and a big part [of their success].
“In all he’s achieved in the last nine or 10 years since I’ve been in the squad, we’ve been in the squad together, so I hope he stays and achieves more things with Manchester United.”
Rooney, 27, scored 12 goals in 27 Premier League appearances last season.
