Tom Cleverley and Olivier Giroud both tweet their thoughts after Manchester United and Arsenal find out their European fates

Manchester City were handed a tough test against Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stage draw in Monaco on Thursday.

The Citizens will also take on CSKA Moscow and Victoria Plzen in Group D, while Arsenal have been pitted against stellar European outfits Borussia Dortmund, Marseille and Napoli in Group F.

Elsewhere, Manchester United are set to face Shakhtar Donetsk, Bayer Leverkusen and Real Sociedad in Group A, with Chelsea receiving a favourable draw which will see them clash with Schalke 04, Basel and Steaua Bucharest in Group E.

Finally, Celtic were rewarded for a stirring comeback in the play-off round by being drawn with La Liga champions Barcelona, seven-time winners Milan and Ajax in Group H.
