Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey playing best football of career, says Craig Bellamy
Wales striker Craig Bellamy believes Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is producing the best form of his blossoming career

Craig Bellamy believes Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is producing the best form of his career ahead of Wales’ World Cup qualifier against Serbia on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old Gunners midfielder levelled in Macedonia for Chris Coleman’s side before half-time on Friday night but the Dragons went on to suffer a 2-1 loss.
It continued Ramsey’s excellent start to the season after the Arsenal playmaker scored three goals and made one assist in five appearances in all competitions.
And Cardiff City forward Bellamy insisted he was always confident Ramsey could produce his current level of performances despite the criticism the
Welshman has faced in recent seasons.
“I’ve taken more of an interest in him than any other Wales player because his father is from the same area of Cardiff as I am,” Bellamy told reporters.
“I’ve known about him since he was coming up as a kid. You have a lot to deal with when something like that [the broken leg suffered against Stoke City February 2010] happens to you.
“There isn’t a person out there in football who didn’t expect that kind of performance from him at the moment. He’s been capable of it. We are seeing it and it’s the best I’ve seen him.”
