Alex Büttner believes there isn’t a crisis at Manchester United despite a third loss of the season.

The Red Devils suffered a shock 2-1 loss to West Bromwich Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday after being defeated by Liverpool and Manchester City.

United are currently in 12th position under Sir Alex Ferguson’s successor David Moyes, but Büttner wants the club’s supporters to trust the manager and players.

“We’re very disappointed to lose the game. It is very disappointing for everyone,” said Büttner.

“Normally we have to win this game at home but no, I don’t think it is a crisis.

“We have lost games but we have to focus and fight in every game to win it.

“Of course the crowd want to see Manchester United winning – the players want that too.”

He added: “Our season starts now and we can win many games. You have to trust the players and everyone.

“I think we can do this as a team. We are going to win games, I am sure.”

United, who won their 20th top-flight crown last term, take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light in their next fixture in the Premier League.
