England edged towards World Cup qualification after the Three Lions picked up a valuable point in a goalless draw with Ukraine in Kiev.
Arsenal forward Theo Walcott was denied by a brave save from Ukraine’s Andriy Pyatov in the third minute before Chelsea’s Frank Lampard guided a free header narrowly wide on the stroke of full-time.
