Victor Anichebe: I was sad to see David Moyes join Man United
West Bromwich Albion striker Victor Anichebe says he was sad to see David Moyes leave Everton to join Manchester United

Victor Anichebe says he was sad to see David Moyes join Manchester United – and has admitted the Scot’s move played a part in his decision to quit Everton.
The Nigeria international completed a £6m move to West Bromwich Albion on deadline day, ending his seven-year spell at the Merseyside outfit.
The 25-year-old rose to prominence under the guidance of Moyes but felt the time was right to seek a new challenge after his manager replaced Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.
“David Moyes has been such a help for me. He has been like a father figure,” Anichebe said.
“He brought me through when I was just a boy and he has stuck with me through thick and thin. It was a wrench and there were moments even when I was driving down when I thought, ‘Is this the right decision?'”
He added: “It was difficult but I thought it was the right time to leave.
“Everton is changing and the club is going in a different direction. They have got a new manager in there now, with new philosophies.
“I was sad to see David Moyes go but that happens and you have to move on. I felt after a good latter stage of the season, maybe I should go somewhere else for a fresh start.”
