Chelsea transfers: Kevin De Bruyne admits he could leave Blues
Chelsea transfers: Kevin De Bruyne refuses to rule out a possible loan move away from Stamford Bridge in January
Kevin De Bruyne has refused to rule out a possible loan move away from Chelsea in January amid the continuing speculation over his future.
The Belgium international’s situation has been a source of speculation in recent weeks after falling out of favour under Blues boss Jose Mourinho.
Belgium head coach Marc Wilmots was the latest name to speak bout about the 22-year-old future when he urged him to seek a move away from Stamford Bridge to gain regular playing time last week.
Now, the player himself has admitted that he cannot rule out a switch away from west London in the new year.
“Maybe,” said De Bruyne when asked if a loan move could be possible in January. “But Chelsea is my employer and they decide my future.
“I don’t have to talk about what could happen in January now, as it’s only November. A lot can still happen.
“I feel quite good. The fact that I’m playing at Chelsea is proof I always performed well. The manager told me in July that I had to stay, so I’m not a difficult person. I’ve no regrets.”
