Adam Lallana has warned Arsenal that Southampton travel to The Emirates full of confidence after getting positive results at Anfield and Old Trafford already this season.

The Saints were 1-0 winners against high-flying Liverpool in October before the Saints skipper netted a late winner to hold reigning Premier League champions Manchester United to a 1-1 draw.

Third-placed Southampton are currently three points behind league leaders Arsenal ahead of Saturday’s clash, and new England international Lallana, who faced Chile and Germany, is relishing the test.

“We’ve got a tough game at the weekend and I’m thoroughly looking forward to that,” Lallana told Southampton’s website.

“We’ve got a busy December coming up, so I’m happy that I’m fully-fit. I’m just really looking forward to getting in amongst it this weekend at the Emirates.

“It’s a massive game. It’s top versus third so why can’t we go there and a get a result?

“We’ve done it at Old Trafford and at Anfield already this season, so the lads will be full of confidence and I’m really looking forward to it.”
