Lewis Holtby has no intention of leaving Tottenham Hotspur in January despite reported interest from Serie A, according to the midfielder’s agent.

The 23-year-old has been limited to just five starts in all competitions for the north London side this season after moving to White Hart Lane from Schalke in January.

Holtby, who has made 13 appearances in total this term, notching up a goal two assists, had been linked with a move to Serie A side Roma in recent weeks.

However, the player’s agent Marcus Noack insists that the midfielder is “very comfortable” at Spurs and is determined to establish himself as a regular starter.

“Lewis has definitely no intention of leaving Tottenham,” Marcus Noack told Goal. “On the contrary, he feels very comfortable at the club and in London.

“He wants to establish himself further and contribute so the club can reach its goals this season.”
