Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has heaped praise on Aaron Ramsey ahead of Everton’s trip to Arsenal on Sunday.
The Wales midfielder has been one of the Gunners’ standout performers this season, scoring 10 goals and making six assists to help them top the Premier League table.
And Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is currently sidelined with a knee ligament injury picked up on the opening day of the season, praised Ramsey’s mental toughness after recovering from the broken leg he suffered in 2010.
“This season he has been phenomenal,” Oxlade-Chamberlain told the Telegraph.
“We could always see he had so much ability and Aaron has come back from a tough, tough injury that was also really mentally challenging.
“You have to admire his mental strength to keep faith in himself – he is seeing the rewards and so are we.”
