Sergio Busquets insists he wants to stay at Barcelona despite reported interest from Chelsea.

The Spain international recently penned a new deal which will keep the World Cup winner at Camp Nou until 2018.

However, Chelsea continue to be linked with the 25-year-old defensive midfielder as Jose Mourinho looks to improve his Blues squad.

But Busquets, who is reportedly valued at £30m, wants to remain at the La Liga champions for the foreseeable future.

“I renewed my contract fairly recently, so I haven’t planned anything, because I’m where I want to be,” Busquets said.

Meanwhile, Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino backed Brazil international Neymar after the striker’s recent struggles in front of goal.

“You do not analyse a player just due to their goals, or just due to their work for the team, or just due to their assists,” Martino said.

“Neymar is a player who has all assets in his game, at the moment the ball might not be going in for him, but the goals will come. He is not a goalscorer like Leo, who is so easy in front of goal, but he can score goals for us — just like Alexis [Sanchez], Pedro [Rodriguez] and Cesc.”
