Joe Allen has hailed Luis Suarez’s “master-class” in a 5-1 victory over Norwich City on Wednesday.

The Uruguay international scored a 35-minute hat-trick against the Canaries before adding a fourth thanks to a brilliant free-kick, as well as creating Raheem Sterling’s late strike.

And Liverpool midfielder Allen believes the sky is the limit for 26-year-old Suarez after the South American took his top-flight tally to 13 goals this season.

“It was a master-class of a performance,” Allen told Liverpool’s website.

“When he plays like that he’s unstoppable and some of the goals were incredible.

“I think when he’s like that, it’s a case of find him and let him do his magic. I think he struck so much fear into their team that he had the upper hand from the first minute.

“With the track record he’s got against Norwich, he felt confident going into the game and he certainly showed that.

“He’s constantly getting better, so the sky is the limit. The thing with Luis is how consistently he’s performing, week-in, week-out. He’s delivering and it’s a privilege to play with someone like that – so long may that continue for Liverpool.”
