Stevan Jovetic is happy at Manchester City despite interest from Serie A, according to the Montenegro midfielder’s agent.

The 24-year-old has only made three Premier League appearances due to a series of injuries after making a £22m switch to the Citizens from Fiorentina during the summer transfer window.

Jovetic, who scored 13 Serie A goals last season, has been linked with a move to AC Milan and Juventus in recent weeks following his troubled start to life at Eastlands.

However, the playmaker’s agent Fali Ramadani insists Jovetic will be remaining at the third-placed Premier League side beyond January.

“The only problems he has had are the physical ones,” Ramadani told Calciomercato.

“Now he has fully recovered from his injury and will return next week to train with the team.

“Even with coach Pellegrini, everything is okay, there is no problem.

“If there should be problems when he is in shape, we’ll see what to do. But right now there is absolutely nothing.”

On the chance of a return to Serie A, Ramadani added: “No, there is absolutely nothing.

“Nobody called me also because everyone knows that it is unimaginable that a player who arrived a few months ago can already move.”
