Man United transfers: Tony Pulis wants Wilfried Zaha at Palace
Man United transfers: Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis admits he would like to sign Wilfried Zaha on loan
Tony Pulis has admitted that he would love to sign Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha on loan in January.
The England international has made a mere four appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils since linking up with the defending champions in the summer.
We’d be interested, whether we could do it, but we’d be interested if the player was available
Earlier on Thursday, United manager David Moyes revealed that he had yet to receive any loan offers for the 21-year-old forward despite the current speculation.
And Palace boss Pulis, who succeeded Ian Holloway in November, spoke of his desire to bring Zaha back to Selhurst Park next month.
“Obviously he was a tremendous player at this football club and United spent a lot of money on him. I’m sure Wilfried and David and Manchester United will decide what they want to do,” Pulis said.
“We’d be interested, whether we could do it, but we’d be interested if the player was available.
“We’re cutting across a line I really don’t want to go past, you’re talking about other players who are owned by other football clubs. That’s disrespectful to United and especially David.”
