James Milner struck a second-half winner as Manchester City mounted an impressive comeback to seal a 3-2 victory over holders Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Goals from David Silva, Aleksandar Kolarov and Milner helped City overturn an early 2-0 deficit at the Allianz Arena, whilst Manchester United were slender 1-0 winners against Bayer Leverkusen.

Naturally, City’s triumph against Pep Guardiola’s side prompted a huge response on Twitter, and here is our selection of the best posts from the professionals in chronological order.
