Ray Parlour believes Luis Suarez is emulating Thierry Henry’s impact in the Premier League – adding that the Liverpool striker is now worth £120m.

The 26-year-old forward scored twice in a 5-3 victory over Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium to take his tally to 22 top-flight goals this season.

What a brilliant player. Worth £120 million now

In particular, the Uruguayan’s second strike past Potters goalkeeper Jack Butland earned comparisons to Henry’s trademark low finishes during his Arsenal career.

And the Frenchman’s former team-mate Parlour sees similarities between the pair.

Parlour posted on Twitter: “Agree that it has to be Suarez [for man-of-the-match]. What a brilliant player. Worth £120 million now. Unplayable at times like Henry used to be!”

The former Gunners midfielder added that it was a huge win for the Reds, who hoisted themselves back into fourth position ahead of derby rivals Everton.

“Big win for Liverpool keeping the pressure on at the top! How tight at the bottom too. What a league!!” added Parlour.
